Body found on Whiting Beach ID'd as missing man

WHITING, Ind. (WLS) -- The Lake County coroner has identified the man's body that washed up on Whiting Beach Tuesday as 30-year-old Orest Sopka of Chicago. Sopka was reported missing from a boat accident on Lake Michigan in May.

Sopka was with four other people on a boat that sank after a fire about five miles off of Navy Pier.
