CHICAGO (WLS) -- The National Latino Education Institute is celebrating 45 years of serving the Chicago community with a huge gala on June 7, 2017.
The event at the Hilton Chicago will feature dinner, a silent auction, entertainment, and the presentation of awards. NLEI had been a leader in job advocacy for Latinos in the 1960s. Now a nationally accredited, non-profit business education institute serving the Chicagoland area, NLEI offers career training in a wide range of economically vital fields from healthcare to computer technology. Members of NLEI joined ABC 7 to talk about their programs, and how the money raised at the upcoming gala will help.
