If you've been meaning to visit one the U.S.'s beautiful national parks, Saturday is a very good day to do so.

Entrance fees are being waived Saturday to commemorate "National Public Lands Day."

The park service's next free day is November 11, which is Veterans Day.

The park service manages more than 400 parks from coast to coast and beyond, including Alaska, Hawaii and five U.S. territories.
