FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (WLS) -- Thirteen people were rescued just before a yacht sunk into the ocean off the coast of Fort Lauderdale in Florida.
When the coast guard arrived, water was already covering the deck of the 106 foot vessel. People on other nearby boats pitched in to help the rescue effort and they were able to save everyone onboard.
The yacht went down quickly and the Coast Guard says it's in an area where it probably will never be pulled out of the water.
