2 shot, 1 critically injured on Far South Side

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago police said two people were shot and one of them critically injured on Chicago's Far South Side Thursday evening.

Police said the two men were shot just after 7 p.m. in the 10200-block of South Malta Street.

Officials said a teenager was shot multiple times in the abdomen and taken to Christ Medical Center in critical condition. A second man suffered a graze wound to the head.

The immediate circumstances of the shooting were not clear. Chicago police are investigating.
