3 McCracken Middle School students expelled after Instagram threats

SKOKIE, Ill. (WLS) -- Three sixth graders at McCracken Middle School in Skokie were expelled because of threats made on Instagram.

The district closed the school for two days in late October because of the seriousness of the threats.

The school board voted to expel one student for two years, while the other two can't return until early January.
