CHICAGO (WLS) -- NBA players and referees gather at St. Sabina Saturday for the church's annual peace basketball tournament.

Wayne Ellington of the Brooklyn Nets, movie director Spike Lee and Cecilia Noah, Bulls star Joakim Noah's mother, also attended the game, pushing for an end to violence across the city.

The tournament was created four years ago as a way to bring together different gang factions to help create peace and unity in communities.
