CHICAGO (WLS) -- Loved ones gathered Tuesday to remember the people killed 12 years ago in a stampede at Chicago's E2 nightclub.
They stood in the cold, holding hands and praying for the 21 men and women who lost their lives that night in February 2003. Fifty others were hurt.
The stampede began after security guards used pepper spray to break up a fight.
The club's owners were convicted of criminal contempt for violating an order to shut down the building's second floor.
