Evanston 311, non-emergency police lines down, police say

EVANSTON, Ill. (WLS) -- City officials in north suburban Evanston say all 311 and non-emergency police phone lines are down Wednesday afternoon.

Evanston police tweeted about the issue just before 5 p.m.

Resident should call 911 if they need any police response. As of 5:30 p.m. police said the lines remain down and are being repaired.
