Glen Ellyn man charged with felony sex crimes

GLEN ELLYN, Ill. (WLS) -- A suburban Glen Ellyn man is accused of trying to solicit sex with a teenager on the web site Craigslist.

Kurt Ellinghausen, 47, was arrested last night and charged with two felonies: Indecent Soliciting of a Child and Grooming, police say.

Prosecutors say he was taken into custody when he tried to meet with someone he thought was a 16-year old.

The other person was actually an undercover sheriff's office detective.
