Jerry Slowik, 'Jeopardy!' champion, charged in Wisconsin sex assault

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Jerry Slowik, who gained fame as a "Jeopardy!" champion, was charged with sexual assault of a minor in Wisconsin, police said.



Slowik allegedly assaulted the defendant March 21 on a dead-end road off of Highway 50 in Lake Geneva, Wisc. after the two saw a movie together, police said.



The 28-year-old man from Arlington Heights won more than $120,000 on shows that aired in December 2013 and in January 2014.
