Antonio James charged in fatal Woodlawn shooting

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Antonio James, 21, was charged in a shooting last year in Chicago's Woodlawn neighborhood that killed a 26-year-old man and injured two other men.



Police said on July 3, 2013, the three victims were sitting in a vehicle in the 6600-block of South Champlain Avenue just before 7:30 p.m. when James allegedly drove up and opened fire.



Ernest McMullen, 26, of the 800 block of East 46th, was fatally shot in the head. The other two men, ages 29 and 18, were also shot.



James, of the 9200-block of South Dobson Avenue in Chicago, was arrested Wednesday and charged with first-degree murder and two counts of attempted murder.



He is due in bond court Thursday.
