Man, 58, shot while cleaning gutters in Chicago Lawn

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago police are looking for the person who shot a man in the back as he was cleaning his neighbor's gutters.

Edward Walker, 58, was shot in the back Thursday afternoon in the 2300 block of W. 72nd Street. He was taken in serious condition to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.

It's unclear what prompted the shooting but it doesn't appear the victim was the intended target.
