An activist group called "Mothers Against Senseless Killings" rallied Saturday on the South Side.

CHICAGO (WLS) -- An activist group called "Mothers Against Senseless Killings" rallied Saturday on the South Side.

The women handed out fliers to residents near 53rd Street and South May Avenue, sending a message to end gun and gang violence.

They also fired up the grill for a barbecue.
