'Outlaws' motorcycle gang leader in custody after 17 years on the run

SAN DIEGO (WLS) -- The leader of a Chicago-area motorcycle gang who has been on the run for 17 years is now behind bars.

Randy Yager was taken into custody in Mexico and booked to San Diego, California.

Yager is a career criminal and the president of the "Outlaws" motorcycle gang in the Chicago region.

Yager is wanted in Wisconsin for murder, arson, robbery and drug trafficking.

He faces life in prison.
