North Side break-ins prompt CPD alert

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A series of home break-ins on the city's North Side has prompted a warning from Chicago police.

The burglars hit three homes in the Albany Park neighborhood, during the day, last Tuesday and Wednesday.

Police are investigating three similar burglaries near Lakeview.

In all of the cases, police say the crooks come in through unlocked windows or the back door.
