Officer injured during traffic stop in Kankakee County

BRADLEY, Ill. (WLS) -- Police say an officer was injured during a traffic stop in the town of Bradley, Ill. in Kankakee County Saturday afternoon.

The officer received non-life-threatening injuries during a traffic stop on the 100-block of North Kinzie around 2:30 p.m. Saturday.

The officer was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Police could not give me any information on a suspect they are looking for and they could not say whether that suspect was armed.
