HOUSTON -- A baby was rescued with her parents in Houston, where flooding kept people in their cars for more than three hours Wednesday morning, KRIV reports.
No injuries were reported to the child or parents.
A flash flood warning is in effect for the surrounding counties. A flood warning has also been issued for Keegans Bayou, where minor flooding is effecting roads.
The National Weather Service says residents should avoid the area.
Forecasters are predicting up to 6 inches of rain on Wednesday. Rain chances are expected to decrease later in the week.
