Woman fatally shot in Streeterville

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A woman was shot and killed in Chicago's Streeterville neighborhood Sunday morning, police said.

Police said a 25-year-old woman was standing with an acquaintance on the street in the 400-block of East Ohio Street at about 2:40 a.m. when someone shot her in the head. She was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital where she was pronounced dead.

The victim has been identified to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office as Raven Lemons.

No one else was injured. Police have investigated and so far, no arrests have been made.
