Michael Jordan store to open in Chicago
People have been queing up days in advance of the opening of a new Michael Jordan brand store on State Street.

CHICAGO (WLS) -- The new Michael Jordan brand Nike store doesn't open in Chicago until Saturday, but Michael Jordan tweeted out a first look inside.

Jordan tweeted "No place like home. A look inside 32 South State, a retail experience with @footaction."

The store will sell merchandise with the trademarked Michael Jordan "Jumpman" silhouette, including basketball, training, sportswear and kids' products. The brand manager said the store will also have items chosen "specifically by Michael," according to the Associated Press.

In anticipation of the Saturday opening, people have been lined up outside the store for days.

"It looks insane. It will be the greatest store down here," said Joel Pacheco, of Schaumburg, who said he wants at least 3 pairs of Air Jordans.

"Resale is going to be insane," Pacheco said. "If I'm out here standing out here 32 hours and i'm making $3,000, why not?

But there are some MJ fans in the line - Brent Hill has been there since Thursday night.

"I'm expecting to get some goodies in there. There is a lot of different inventory. Just some of the newer releases, just some of the limited stuff that's in there," Hill said.

He's in it for the experience as a collector and fan of the brand - and he's not re-selling.

"Not sellers, not over here," Hill said.

Although, the building's sign says "from Chicago, for Chicago," Nike plans to open stores in New York, Los Angeles, and Toronto featuring Jordan.
