CHICAGO (WLS) -- A second person is in custody in connection with armed robberies aboard an Orange Line train last week, police confirm.
Police released surveillance pictures last week of two men who allegedly took jewelry and cell phones from several passengers on a train car between the Halsted Street and Roosevelt Street stops. Police also say one woman was pistol whipped for refusing to give up her purse.
The first suspect was arrested Friday. Charges are still pending against both suspects.
