Comfort dog honored by Chicago Crime Commission

Mitchell, a 2-year-old lab, helps calm children as they prepare to testify in trials and does the same kind of therapy for veterans appearing in front of a judge.

A comfort dog received a well-deserved honor from the Chicago Crime Commission on Wednesday.

Mitchell and two members of the Lake County state's attorney's office are this year's Paws of Distinction Award winners.
