2 Chicago police officers injured in South Side crash near Pershing, Halsted

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago police are investigating a crash that injured two officers on the city's South Side just after 12:30 Friday morning at the intersection of Pershing and Halsted.

Police are still investigating the cause of the accident, but say the officers' injuries were minor.

They were taken to Mercy Hospital for evaluation.
