CHICAGO (WLS) -- In the race for Chicago mayor, candidate Willie Wilson gained a new supporter.
Cook County Commissioner Robert Shaw announced that he's supporting Wilson's candidacy. Wilson has been placed back on the ballot after Mayor Rahm Emanuel's re-election campaign dropped its petition challenge against Wilson.
Commissioner Shaw says he'll do what it takes to get his candidate elected.
"I want all my friends together and get behind Willie Wilson as the next mayor of this city," Shaw said.
