Surprise John Summit concert happening in Chicago Wednesday

CHICAGO (WLS) -- American Airlines announced a surprise concert featuring John Summit at Gallagher Way on Wednesday.

The airline said the first 100 AAdvantage members to check in at Caretakers Way will receive access to a private viewing area during the performance.

Summit was born and raised in the Chicago area and has big ties to the airline.

His father, Captain John Schuster, has been working with American Airlines for 35 years based at O'Hare airport.

American Airlines said all participants must be AAdvantage members and at the time of check-in.

The pop-up concert is happening at 2:50 p.m.
