Aurora police seeking to ID car involved in hit-and-run crash
Aurora police need help identifying an SUV believed to be involved in a hit-and-run crash last month.

AURORA, Ill. (WLS) -- Aurora police need help identifying an SUV believed to be involved in a hit-and-run crash last month.

The vehicle can be seen in video on Ridgeway Avenue near Lake Street just before 10:15 p.m., moments before the crash in the 100-block of Ridgeway on the night of June 24.

Police say the SUV hit and seriously hurt a man, then continued driving east on Ridgeway before turning south on Lake.

The man has since been released from the hospital and continues to recover, police said.
