Michigan Ave. ramp to DuSable Lake Shore Drive closing for construction

CHICAGO (WLS) -- An important road closure is scheduled to begin on Monday, August 11.

The Michigan Avenue ramp to Northbound DuSable Lake Shore drive will shut down so crews can resurface the lanes.

Work is expected to wrap up by the end of the week.

Traffic will be re-routed to inner Lake Shore Drive up to LaSalle.

CDOT warned drivers to allow extra travel time.
