
CHICAGO (WLS) -- A teenager was shot on Chicago's South Side amid an armed robbery, police said.
The crime happened on Monday at about 11 p.m. in the 12700 block of S. Wentworth Avenue, police said.
A 16-year-old boy said he was walking when two men walked up to him, pulled out a firearm and demanded his things.
The teen said he was shot as he tried to run away.
He self-transported to Roseland Hospital with a gunshot wound to the left thigh and right calf. He is expected to be OK.

Nobody is in custody, Chicago police said.
