2 found shot to death inside vehicle in Armour Square, Chicago police say

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Two people were found shot to death Friday inside of a vehicle on the city's South Side.

The discovery was made around 7:07 p.m. in the 300 block of West 31st Street in Armour Square, Chicago police said.

A male and a female, whose ages were not yet known, were each found with a gunshot wound to the head, police said. They were pronounced dead at the scene. Their identities were also not known.

A firearm was found at the scene, CPD said. The incident is being investigated as a homicide. Investigators believe it was a murder suicide.
