Man shot in the chest in Albany Park, Chicago police say

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A man was shot in Albany Park on Monday afternoon, Chicago police said.

The shooting happened at about 4:20 p.m. in the 4900 block of N. Kedzie Avenue, police said.

A man, 23, was in a car when he was shot in the upper chest, according to CPD.

The victim was taken to an area hospital in good condition.

Chopper 7 was over the scene as CPD investigated the scene.

Nobody is in custody.

No other information was available.
