Dan Ryan Expy. reopens after deadly crash on Southwest Side, police say

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A deadly crash shut down the Dan Ryan Expressway on Chicago's Southwest Side on Sunday morning , Illinois State Police said.

The crash happened just after 4 a.m. on the outbound lanes of I-90/94 at 18th Street, police said.

ISP said all outbound lanes were closed at about 6:30 a.m.

All lanes reopened at about 8 a.m.

Video captured by ABC7 shows the traffic building up on the Dan Ryan.

No other information regarding the crash was available.
