Cyber attack closes Evanston Township High School

EVANSTON, Ill. (WLS) -- Evanston Township High School is closed because of a ransonmware attack.

Summer school, sports camps, and on-campus activities are canceled for Monday and Tuesday.

The ransomware attack disrupted access to district systems, internet services, and computer infrastructure.

The district is working with the FBI as part of the investigation.

The district will have additional updates on the schedule for the remainder of the week.
