Chicago Guinness Brewery talks fish and chips on Cooking up a Storm ahead of St. Patrick's Day

CHICAGO (WLS) -- ABC7 Chicago was Cooking up a Storm with an Irish brewery Thursday that will be packed this weekend.

Guinness Open Brewery in Chicago's West Loop is pumping out a lot of fish and chips, as Chicago celebrates St. Patrick's Day this weekend.

Father Tom McCarthy, the grand marshal for Saturday's downtown parade, was also in the studio.

ABC7 Chicago will broadcast the parade live, with special coverage hosted by Rob Hughes, Stephanie Wade and Greg Dutra from noon to 2 p.m.

The ingredients for a fish fry are simple: flour, baking powder, salt, beer and fish.
