Meetch's Wings and Things now open in Rolling Meadows; chef joins Cooking up a Storm

ROLLING MEADOWS, Ill. (WLS) -- It's almost tailgating season, which means it was time Thursday to Cook up a Storm with some wings.

Meetch's Wings and Things just opened at 1911 Algonquin Road in Rolling Meadows.

It's a life-long dream for its owner.

Everything, from the wings to the fries, is cooked in beef tallow.

The chef and owner, Demitri Kontogiannis, makes his sauces fresh every day.

They have traditional and boneless wings, but also smash burgers, pork belly bites and char dogs.

Kontogiannis joined ABC7 Chicago Thursday to talk more about it.
