2 in critical condition after propane explosion in Oriole Park

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Two people were hospitalized in critical condition following a propane explosion in the city's Oriole Park neighborhood, officials said.

The explosion occurred Friday evening in the 7800-block of W. Rascher. No other details have been released. Neighbors say two workers were working on a addition to the home when a propane tank exploded.

None of the family members that live in the home were present at the time of the explosion.
