Make your pumpkin spice latte at home for $1
It only takes a few ingredients to make and is going to save you money this fall.

HOUSTON -- If your pumpkin spice latte craving is hitting you hard in the pocket book, we've got the recipe so you can create it at home.



It only takes a few ingredients to make and is going to save you money this fall.



"Normally you are spending $5 to $6 just for a single cup of it, where as you can do a large 16 ounce cup of it for about $1," said coffee expert Rebecca Greiser of Coffee Icon Superstore.



Just follow these simple steps to become a bargain barista at home:



Pumpkin Spice Latte


Ingredients:


- 2 Tbsp (1 oz) Torani Pumpkin Pie Sauce


- 1 cup (8 oz) milk


- 2 shots espresso* (or dark roasted coffee - if using a K-cup brewer, brew a dark roast blend on the lowest cup size that your K-cup brewer has)


- Whipped cream for garnish (optional)


- Torani Caramel Sauce



Instructions:


1. Warm milk and Torani sauce in a pan on the stove top, or in the microwave. Stir these 2 ingredients with whisk to create foam, if desired, or use a milk frother to "froth" the ingredients. You can view the frother here


2. Add espresso* to a tall glass and pour warmed milk on top.


3. Spoon a thin layer of foamed milk over beverage. Top with whipped cream, if desired. Drizzle with Torani caramel, Torani chocolate syrup, or any desired topping.



*If needed, 1/2 cup strong brewed coffee can be substituted for 2 shots espresso.



Peppermint Mocha Cappuccino


Ingredients:


- 2 tbsp (1 oz) Torani Dark Chocolate Sauce


- 1 tbsp (1/2 oz) Torani Peppermint Syrup


- 1 cup (8oz) milk


- 2 shots espresso*(or dark roasted coffee - if using a K-cup brewer, brew a dark roast blend on the lowest cup size that your K-cup brewer has)



Instructions:


1. Warm milk and Torani syrup in a pan on the stove top, or in the microwave. Stir these 2 ingredients with whisk to create foam, if desired, or use a milk frother to "whip" the ingredients.


2. Pour into a cup and add brewed espresso*.


3. Spoon a thin layer of foamed milk over top of beverage. Drizzle with the Torani Dark Chocolate sauce.

Salted Caramel Mocha


Ingredients:


- 2 tbsp (1 oz) Torani Salted Caramel Syrup


- 1 tbsp (1 oz) Torani Dark Chocolate Sauce


- 1 cup (8oz) milk


- 2 shots espresso*(or dark roasted coffee - if using a K-cup brewer, brew a dark roast blend on the lowest cup size that your K-cup brewer has)


- Whipped cream for garnish



Instructions:


1. Warm milk and Torani syrup in a pan on the stove top, or in the microwave. Stir these 2 ingredients with whisk to create foam, if desired, or use a milk frother to "whip" the ingredients.

*If needed, 1/2 cup strong brewed coffee can be substituted for 2 shots espresso.



Some helpful hints:


- Torani makes sugar free syrups if less sugar is desired.


- Almond Milk can also be substituted for real milk, or even a skim milk.


- We recommend using a milk frother to "froth" the milk for a better result.
