Racine shooting leaves federal agent wounded

RACINE, Wis. (WLS) -- A federal agent was shot in Racine, Wisconsin while taking part in an operation with police Wednesday morning, police said.

Police said the agent is in stable condition.

The agent was wounded while taking part in an operation with multiple law enforcement agencies on Clairmont Street.

Residents in the area have been asked to stay in their homes while police investigate.
