Maryland math teacher wins $1 million on 'Wheel of Fortune'

NEW YORK -- It's "Teachers Week" on "Wheel of Fortune" and one lucky educator hit the jackpot.

Sarah Manchester, a math teacher from Maryland, is only the third contestant to win the $1 million grand prize.

Manchester solved the puzzle "Loud Laughter" during Wednesday night's episode seen right here on Channel 7.

Her husband and two children erupted in cheers and hugged Sarah as she took in the moment.

Manchester says she plans to use her winnings for her two children's education and for travel with her family.
