CHICAGO (WLS) -- Some parents on Chicago's West Side walked into their children's schools Wednesday to protest a possible consolidation.
Protesters were at Saucedo Elementary, one of the three schools that could be combined next year. The other schools are Telpochcalli Elementary and Spy Community Links High School.
Parents are asking for at least a year delay to come up with other options.
The school board is expected to vote on the plan next month.
