GATLINBURG, Tenn. -- Scott Frerman picked up his phone and filmed when he saw two bear cubs fighting in his Smoky Mountains back yard.

The Smoky Mountains run along the border of Tennessee and North Carolina and are primarily occupied by the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The park's website calls the black bear its "most famous resident," and estimates the density of the population to be about two bears per square mile.

On this day, there were at least three in that part of Gatlinburg, according to Frerman, who says on his YouTube post that "momma bear" was watching close by as the cubs played.

"looks like a boxing match," the videographer says on tape.

Nothing like going outside around lunch time, looking off the 2nd story deck and seeing two bear cubs horse playing," Frerman wrote in the YouTube post.
