On Thursday, May 19, 2016, Search, Inc., is bestowing its highest honor, the Trailblazer Award.

CHICAGO (WLS) -- On Thursday, May 19, 2016, Search, Inc. is bestowing its highest honor, the Trailblazer Award. The signature fundraising event recognizes individuals who pave the way for people with disabilities to live, learn, work and participate in the community. All proceeds from the event benefit essential services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, supporting Search's vital mission to empower people with disabilities to achieve their full potential, accept a valued role in their community and lead rich, rewarding lives. Beth Valukas, the Executive Director and COO of Search, Inc., sat down with ABC 7 to talk about the group's upcoming event.
