2 teens injured in Micek Park shooting

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A shooting near a basketball court on the city's Southwest Side sent two teenagers to the hospital Sunday evening.

Police said the boys were near the basketball court around 5:50 p.m. Sunday at Micek Park near 53rd Street and Hamilton in the city's Back of the Yards neighborhood when someone got out of a gray car and opened fire.

A 15-year-old was hit in the backside and a 16-year old was shot in the elbow.
