Forest Preserve shooting leaves 1 wounded

OAK FOREST, Ill. (WLS) -- One person was wounded in a shooting in the Cook County Forest Preserve in southwest suburban Oak Forest.

The shooting happened just after 5 Sunday evening at 147th and Ridgeland.

The circumstances surrounding the shooting are unclear, but the person who was shot was taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
