Aurora outlet mall set to break ground on major expansion

AURORA, Ill. (WLS) -- Shoppers at a popular, suburban outlet mall are getting even more ground to cover when hunting for deals.

A major expansion of Chicago Premium Outlets in Aurora is in the works. The groundbreaking is set for Wednesday morning.

The $110-million, 290,000-square foot expansion will enlarge the mall's footprint by nearly two-thirds.
