Shots fired near Loyola University campus in Rogers Park

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Police are warning Loyola University Chicago students about reported gunfire near its Lake Shore Campus in the city's Rogers Park neighborhood.

Shots were fired around 5:30 a.m. Thursday near Lakewood and Columbia, police said. While searching the area, police say they found two loaded semi-automatic handguns.

No injuries were reported.
