SIOUX CITY, Iowa (WLS) -- Three days of events are planned to mark 25 years since United Airlines Flight 232 crashed in Sioux City, Iowa.
On Friday night, the flight's captain and senior flight attendant gathered with others to talk about the crash and how it's helping the aviation industry today.
Flight 232 crashed on July 19, 1989. It was headed from Denver to O'Hare. The crash killed 111 people, 185 survived.
More events are planned in Sioux City this weekend.
