CHICAGO (WLS) -- A group supporting the swastika campaigned at Taste of Chicago Saturday when a plane flew overhead carrying the controversial symbol.

The group also handed out flyers near Buckingham Fountain. Saturday is the sixth annual "Swastika Rehabilitation Day."

The swastika is a sacred religious symbol for Hinduism and Buddhism.

The group says they're trying to restore that meaning, separate of its association with Nazis in World War II.
