CHICAGO (WLS) -- If you've ever wanted to turn off electronics and spend time bonding with your family or co-workers, Killerspin has a new way to UnPlugNPlay. Killerspin's program helps people pick up a paddle and play table tennis. Research shows physical activities, like table tennis, can reduce anxiety, lower the risk of depression, and allows people to socialize and improve work experiences.
Killerspin recently opened a new place to play in the Chicago loop. You can unwind and play with others Monday - Friday at 135 S. LaSalle Street. The Killerspin House also offers special and private events on weekends, early morning and late evenings. The CEO of Killerspin, Robert Blackwell, Jr., Vice President Rajiv Sharma, and 1988 Olympic Table Tennis Silver Medalist Ilija Lupulseku took on Eyewitness News anchors Ben Bradley and Stacey Baca in a friendly game live on ABC 7.
