Tanker carrying liquid propane overturns on ramp from NB I-57 to WB I-80

COUNTRY CLUB HILLS, Ill. (WLS) -- The ramp from northbound I-57 to westbound I-80 was closed for several hours after a tanker truck carrying a hazardous material overturned early Friday morning in south suburban Country Club Hills.

The tanker was carrying 85,000 pounds of liquid propane, which had to be off-loaded before crews could upright the truck.

The ramp re-opened late Friday morning, after crews cleaned up the mess.
