Downers Grove head-on crash closes Maple between Belmont, Lee

DOWNERS GROVE, Ill. (WLS) -- At least three ambulances responded to a head-on crash in west suburban Downers Grove.

A pick-up truck collided with a Chevrolet Blazer on Maple Avenue near Belmont Road Wednesday morning. A sedan rear-ended the truck.

Maple is shut down between Belmont and Lee Avenue.

Emergency crews are on the scene. A stretcher was seen on the ground next to kneeling first responders just before 7 a.m.

There is no word yet on injuries.
